Sarah Milstein
About: I'm the Chief Publishing Evangelist for O'Reilly Media, a leading publisher of technical information, and Program Chair for the company's new conference, Tools of Change for Publishing. Previously at O'Reilly, I was Managing Editor, Senior Editor, and Editor, leading the development of the Missing Manuals, a bestselling series of computer books for non-geeks. I've also written for the series, co-authoring Google: The Missing Manual (1st ed 2004; 2nd ed 2006). Before joining O'Reilly in 2003, I was a freelance writer and editor, and a regular contributor to The New York Times. I'm interested in the ways that social software is changing and enabling the future of publishing.

Would like to talk. Does your interest in publishing include journalism?
I look forward to meeting you - I like your suggestion for unusual uses for Social networks. I personally believe that is what we need to be exploring with the open web as opposed to following along like sheep and adapting old media practices to this exciting new media.
