About: I am an Associate Professor of Sociology at Keneesaw State University. I am taking the lead in developing a new masters program to train sociological administrators for the 21st Century. They must understand social networking among other concepts.Social networking is rooted in classic sociology.
I teach online using synchronous video/elearning. As a longterm Mac user, I have made a few movies, slidetapes and a podcast or two, but I am far from an expert although some people in the academic setting think I am.
I am a senior citizen, but I appear younger than I am as I am a lifelong learner nourished by creativity and innovation. Some friends state I am in my re-firement.
Coming to SoCon07 feels like I will be a stranger in a strange land. I look forward to be socialized and hope that I have something to contribute
