Thank You Sir, May I Have Another?
I am slowly recovering from this morning's workout. If you have never hired a trainer then you have never really worked out.
I started with a 10 minute cardio warm-up, then some stretches, and then the ass kicking began. The funny thing is at the end, he said, "OK I took easy on you since it is your first day." That was hours ago, I am just starting to move at a normal pace now.
Tomorrow is my private pilates class, then I see the weight trainer guy again, which I am actually looking forward to. I know what this body could look like and feel like. I have a very good memory of what it felt like to be in good shape. Working the muscles today simply heightened that memory and I am counting the days now until I am in prime shape again. This is why I love a good coach who can kick me into shape. I would never push myself the way he pushed me today.
As far as my new diet, I am eating 3 meals a day now, which I never did before. Since my body is not used to eating, the meals tend to be smaller, but I have actually lost 2 pounds already by eating more.
I just went to my closet to find something to wear for my lunch meeting and was greeted by all the clothes I am not fitting into yet. Soon, though...very soon.
